Oh but they do have to tell you, and they do have to remove your Details on request as they never had you permission to process them anyway and they do have to confirm if they are MOJ registered and same for their credit license number!

Notice theirs no credit license for The Pensions helpline Limited. He hasn't messed up and assumed the Mortgage Help line Limited license would cover the The PEnsions helpline Limited company as well, when its not even named on the license.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING PENSION HELPLINE LTD

I am very sorry to hear that so many people have been receiving unsolicited calls from a company calling themselves PENSION HELPINE.

I registered a company in the name of Pension Helpline Ltd in 2011, this company has never traded and never will do because of these scam telephone calls that have been happening.

In December 2012 I applied for the company to be dissolved with companies house, as I have also become a victim to this scam and I am receiving inundated e mails of complaints from people assuming that this scam is connected to me or my associated business interests.

You will see from the blogs on forums that this goes back to 2010, I hadn’t registered the company name till 2011.

I have spoken with all the authorities over recent weeks and they are all fully aware that this SCAM IS NOT ASSOCIATED WITH ME OR ANY OF MY BUSINESS INTERESTS.

              Including Trading Standards
              The Information of Commissioners
              Data Protection House
              Financial Services Authority

Anybody can call themselves Pension Helpline or use it as a trading name, if you look on the internet there is several companies using the name, and I believe that a lot of sites have since shut down for the same reason I have requested the company be dissolved.

I am sorry I can’t be of any further help to anyone as to who is making these calls but I do understand that the authorities are looking into it.

                  Re: The pensions helpline limited

If you are getting unsolicited calls from the Pension Helpline then Ken Reason is quite right it is nothing to do with him. The people behind the Pension Helpline are:

The company is Aims Review also known as Aims Reclaim SL (Spain), Aims Legal and other variation of Aims! They operate the Pension Helpline and also the PPI Helpline (for PPI reclaims). They operate the pensions helpline and pension division under the name Yardstick Marketing although this is not a registered business name and were formerly know as Forensic Review but had to close that down due to some issue or the other with the FSA. The main business of Aims is PPI reclaims and for that they are registered under the MOJ (Ministry of Justice) as all claims companies have to be. However they are falling foul of the MOJ regulations by cold calling people with their automated dialing system under the Pension Helpline and PPI Helpline. More people need to complain to the MOJ about them so that the MOJ can take action. From my understanding they were fairly close to loosing their license recently due to their antics.

Aims are based in Spain despite the fact they may tell you that they are in Lancashire etc. Their address is Avenida Andasol KM189, El Rosario, Marbella, 29604 Malaga Spain. Telephone number 0034 952 835 501. Their directors are Adam Bennett, Tom William Edwardson, Tom Edwardson Jnr, Michael Salter, Michael Costello and on the pension side John James.

Their staff are instructed to hang up if someone asks too many questions about who they are where they are etc. sometimes they may say yes we will remove you from the list but in reality they don't bother as they couldn't care less, their only concern is how much many can they make out of you. If you google some of the directors you will see they have a less then exemplary track record.

The £1000 cash refund / bonus they talk about is non existent. Basically they want you to move you pensions to their IFAs who are MC Global Choice Ltd in Carlisle (but as far as I am aware they are not regulated or registered with the FSA, & if that's the case then they are breaking the law). If you do move your pension, MC Global Choice will reinvest your pension pot into some very possibly high risk investment or other for which they get paid a handsome commission of around 20 to 30% out your fund so effectively they are giving you your £1000 back!

Finally remember there is no such thing as a free lunch! And nothing good was ever sold via a cold call or and hard sell.

                    Gosh! Really?

The next you'll tell me will be that I cannot "claim thousands" for that accident I don't recall having or over £2000 for the PPI on that loan I never had.

So it is actually invested, is it?

I'd assumed that the pension would go into a Ponzi scheme, whereby the "bonus" would effectively be paid by the next stratum of suckers conned into moving their pensions.

Are these the same jockers who phone on a withheld/intenational number?
They start to speak before the answer phone finishes and tell me to press five to continue or nine to unsubscribe, apparently I have thounds due?! Had over twenty, chap at BT says if I am in next time to pick up the phone but not to say anything as it is the "voice" of the answer phone that triggers it?

Yes these are the people calling you. That's why you get 'international' sometimes on your caller ID as they are based in Spain. Incidentally pressing 9 has no effect it doesn't remove your number from their lists. If anyone wants to call them you can get straight through to Aims's pension operation I.e. Yardstick Marketing on 0161 713 3024, this number gets routed to Spain.
