  • Thank God the TV change over is completed in Yorkshire

As per the title, i am so relived the change over is now over with and completed.. or at least i hope thats it all done and dusted. The last 12 months have been a nightmare as far as my bedroom TV is concerned, as with it having an indoor arial, half the channels i would get one day the next i would not beable to get them and had to take the tv downstairs to retune in order to get all channels again. Even moving the ariel wouldn't work for some channels.

This happened countless times, and theres nothing worse than being in laid in bed for the signal to just vanish in the middle of a tv programme and you end up missing the rest whilst you take the TV downstairs to retune via the main house arial. What ****ed me off is the lack of the channels coordinating during the change over and the signal strengh on one channel being good one day whilst the next was poor, only for it to be the poor channel being good signal the next day and the good channel being poor the next day. I literally felt like a human yo-yo for the last 12 months when it came to settling down to watch TV in bed on a night. Not to mention freezing my arse off downstairs in just my boxer shorts whilst am returning it with the main arial, not a problem during the summer nights but the winter brrrrrrr.

Considering i pay for a TV license i would have expected a much better qaulity of service provided during the change over. I know its possible for them to do, as prove of it is today, when i retuned this morning with the indoor arial and i have all channels all with good signal. So why was the signal reduced during change over and why was it going up and down for the last 12 months?

Know the jumping and skipping bit, DT. Peeps in South West England, apparently, get this a lot, especially from a transmitter in Cornwall.
