  • Telling the government someone has died – the 'Tell Us Once' service

A new service called 'Tell Us Once' has been introduced in England, Scotland and Wales which helps you tell the government just once about a person’s death.

They were piloting this in 2010 where I live. A friend of mine died in December 2010 and it was a great help at a very difficult time for his widow. I would recommend it to anyone who has suffered the loss of a loved one. It will make loss easier to cope with.
Life is a journey on which we all travel, sometimes together, but never alone.

It will be a massive help to people at such a difficult time. Let's hope it gets off to a good start.
