  • Overhanging Scaffolding

    HI Guys

I was just wondering if anyone can give me some advice.
I have started an extention which is on our boundary, our neighbours have been a complete pain about scaffolding even though it was only going to be a couple of poles in part of their garden they dont really use, however I decided to overhang some scaffolding on their airspace causing them to send me a solicitors letter threatning an injunction, I have since offered them £250 for the 3 weeks it will be up and they have now asked for £1,000, should I chance my luck in court or raise my offer, the builders have caused no damage at all apart from some dust.

    Thanks for your help.
