  • 30 day consultation

last week we were told be were under 30 days consultation, our job is changing and we are now in a diminished pool.

we have asked for the new job profile but told we will not get to see this until after the consultation has finishd.

i am assuming the employer is in the right but i would have thought part of the process is to consult on the new role - as we don't know what surprises the employer has in store for us then how can we consult on the new role

other benefits are being takn away and replced with "compensation" but this wont be in our favour - we've been asked what a good result will be for us and given some feedback but we have been told there is NO negotiation and will be told after the consultation what we are being given (not offered)

are the company right about the job profiles

    thanks

You can also phone ACAS, explain your situation and they will tell you what the legal situation is.
