  • Advise please faulty shower installation

About 8 months ago we had a shower room with a pump fitted install by a firm recommended by a friend. The room is great but the shower has not worked properly since day one. It starts off ok for a minute them loses most of it's pressure. A new pump was installed but the same problem was there.

We have discovered that if we switch the pump off when pressure drops air can be heard going through the pipes, then switch the pump back on & full pressure is back. Magic!

The installer said he is looking into it yet nothing happened. He finally agreed to get the pump manufactures engineer to come and survey the instalation. His report has highlight missing elements to the original instalation but the company now say the report is wrong and the problem is ours not theirs??

What can I do as I think the work is not fit for purpose (some times we have to run out of the shower to switch the pump off and on) but his delay in acting on the problems has lead to a 8 month delay. Can I demand he fix or remove and refund us our money?

    Help please.
