  • Kafka v NatWest

    I'm sure I posted something about this one before, but can't find where it was.

    Anyway, this is a STEP account - a sort of kid's account with no cheque book and no OD. Over the years there were over £300 in penalties and I successfully claimed these back through MCOL with interest, some months ago.

    Later I received a letter offering all the fees in F&FS if I signed the form. Well it looked like they had made a mistake, and so as this was only a goodwill gesture again, I figured they would have no legal redress to claim an overpayment back.

    Well....imagine my surprise to receive a new statement showing the 'goodwill' gesture paid into the account. If this happens to anyone else, do send the form off as a goodwill gesture could be coming to a bank account near youhoo!

    Don't you just love it when that happens?

    Hhhhmmmmmm......it turned out so right.....

    For claimants in the night.............

    :roll::clap::cloud::gun::smooch::thankyou:
