    Letter from Debt collector

    I recieved yesterday a letter from Mackenzie Hall, I contacted them today and they would not tell me anything unless I gave them details of date of birth etc, this I was not willing to do as I feel they are doing the enquirering so they should justify it. They quoted data protection. As far as I am aware I have no bad debts,and am having a credit check done to see if anything shows up. Do you have any advice to offer. I am so glad I found this site.

    Yes, ignore it and never telephone them again.
