    Hi every one

In 2001 i lost my job and had an out standing balance on my credit card.
I informed them i had no money to pay them a recived tons of letters and calls for a year which i ignored, it stayed on my credit file untill two year ago, last week i recived a ccj off a company called cabot in default, i never recived the summons and was not present at court. I have asked for the ccj to be set aside as the debt is over 6 yesr old and have never had contact with them statute barred.Cabot now inform me they had payments by cheque as late as may 2007, turns out one night they phoned and spoke to my mother about my debt and her thinking she was doing me a favour was sending small amounts of money but she tells me it was more like 2002/3, also i was born in 1975 and they have me down on there files as 1976, month and day is correct though, I was wondering the next step should be im waiting on a new hearing!

    thanks Mac
