    A few don;t really.
DON'T go in all guns blazing demanding action as you will be shown the door rapidly.

Be calm and professional and answer their questions truthfully, after all you want them on your side

Take a bottle of water with you, because I found their offices to be hot (could be my age lol), its best to keep hydrated that way you can keep your concentration.

If possible see if you can chat with their DCA liaison officer as they have a better understanding of the OFT guidelines and CCA law.

Oh my, what a fruitfull visit... theyre not scary people at all!

Firstly the lady said they didnt deal with the part of the cca I had quoted & suggested I see cab. So I asked her if they had a dca liason officer & she said they didn't, then she said she had no idea about my situation but would call her boss...

The boss told the lady that I saw, that the letters I had wrote were great (thanks CB ) & familiarised her with a case. When she got back to me she basically said that moorcroft had defaulted,& even if they produce a cca now (which they doubt very much)... they still defaulted & would have to take me to court to try & enforce the debt. She photocopied everything & set up a file for me. Said to come back if they produce a cca or court documents as they will assist with a defence. She is also calling cheshire ts to see if they know of any cases against moorcroft...

Well it was this lady's first time & she thanked me for teaching her something new (so you've taught her something )..... just 1 thing.... could this possibly stay in limbo forever? or would the statute barred come into play after x amount of years? or something else?........... I always like to see the bigger picture!

Which Trading standards office did you deal with?

I wonder if they would make a statement to the LGO about what they have discovered?
