  • Acknowledgement of Service - helllpppp!

    Hi

I have received a claim form from Northern Rock Plc as I have fallen behind with payments for an unsecured loan. The claim form arrived on 26 June 2009 and I posted the acknowledgement of service form on 7 July 2009. Giving me more time to prepare a defence.

However, on Friday 24 July Royal Mail returned the form to me! It says the reason it was undelivered was because "the addressee has gone away".

I sent it to the correct address, I have double checked!

What am I able to do now? It is way too late to send it back and judgement will have been entered against me.

Any ideas? I will be very grateful!

Did you send the AoS back to the court?

Telephone the court and ask their advice as it's not necessarily too late.
