  • Tafflaff V HSBC hardship claim - SUCCESS !!

Hi thought I'd give HSBC another go got a claim currently on hold with them. Not in the courts system. I shall keep you all posted as I proceed.

Ok phoned HSBC today and spoke to an advisor, I explained to her my intentions and she gave me a direct number to the Department dealing with Hardship claims. I got to have an Income and expense list ready.

Ok , spoke to the relevant department and they've taken my income/exp. off me, she said it may take about 2 weeks to get back to me. I asked her about the £140 in fees they are about to take off me early feb, and she temporarily increased my overdraft for two months to allow them to take the fees without me incurring more fees (how ****ing nice of her).

Re: Tafflaff V HSBC hardship claim

HSBC phoned me today and asked some further questions regarding my mortgage arrears and council tax arrears which come to 2000 quid all together . They then offered to pay all my arrears off directly to Northern Rock and the council. This will be classed as an interim payment in lieu of the test case result. So I'm classing this as a good result.

Well done Tafflaff, excellent that they have paid the arrears directly. Make sure you also get proof that it has been paid.

Have also added you to the sidebar as a success and have moved this thread into hardship successes........something I love to do.
