I have applied for a payday loan for £600 and have repaid it on time. However when I tried to applied again they refused. I was told that it is for new customers only. Does anyone know a better payday loan company that doesn’t charge a lot.

I'm not sure you'll get recommendations for many ( any ) Payday lenders on here - we see far too many people in pickles with payday loans to know which are good/cheap and which are terrible, as we only see the terrible. Plus hard to know who might be better than the one you used, without knowing which one you used

There are much stricter affordability rules and responsible lending rules now so lending twice in quick succession is likely to flag up possible issues, plus ANY PDL, whether paid back on time or not, clobbers your credit file.

Have you investigated other ways to get through to Payday ? Overdraft / Credit union etc ?

" payday loans" quickly become a never ending circle of debt on false move, and they will probably default and you will be lumbered with poor credit for possibly 6 years.

Many thanks I think I will give up with payday loan and save little money on the side each time.

Just a friendly "heads up" that some employers (call centres being one) will do credit checks, and decline jobs and promotions on payday loans. They see it as not being able to budget correctly and take the view you are in financial difficulties, so jobs like customer services for banks etc will be out of reach!

Much better to save up/overdraft etc as this shows you are planning for the future
