  • Rota changes

    I got my Xmas rota on the 28th of November so I planned my Christmas round that .I get my rota every 4 weeks .Now today I have been informed that they are changing it and I have to work on Christmas Day giving me 9 days notice .Can they do this .

    Contract of employment is best place to start.

      Firstly as [MENTION=48096]paulajayne[/MENTION] has said is there any provision in your contract for the way in which rotas are provided and for any short notice changes to these?

      Have you thought of speaking to your manager and explaining that based on the original rota provided to you on 28th Nov you have made arrangements based on that rota and this is very short notice to ask you to change these plans to come in and work.
