  • Annual count statements credit cards etc

    What or where can one find information on regulation regarding credit card accounts and when an annual statement of account has to be issued even if account is defaulted upon, also when smaller payments are being made = do they have to issue an annual statement?

    also consequences of failure by a creditor if they fail to??

    seems cannot get the info off the net?

    Section 78 ( 4) I believe ( prescribed form -> http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/1983/1570/made )

    77a is for loans.

      I think you might be referring to section 86(c) CCA

      https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga...39/section/86C

      The consequences of failing to comply can make the debt unenforceable in court until they do comply.
