    Hi.

A couple of of months ago I was caught shoplifting from- I'm very embarrassed but I didn't have any money and wanted to get some clothes for my baby, not an excuse I know. The security guard took me to a room and another person came in to write everything down. I accepted I tried to steal the clothes and I gave them my name and address. The police weren't involved. I offered to pay for the clothes but they took them off me and gave me a letter banning me for 12 months. This morning I received a letter from RLP headed LETTER BEFORE CLAIM saying I owe £149.50.

What do I do? Please help!

      Re: RLP

Thanks for your reply. I've read lots on the forum but only from a year or two ago. I'm slightly paranoid, thinking maybe something has changed regarding RLP recently. I should have searched better admittedly!

Thanks for posting the ( rather long and irrelevant) letter - I'm going to add it to the 'Scary Letters from RLP' thread
