Can you put a notice in before probate is granted?

If you are executor, yes. The executor gets their power through the Will.
Administrators on the other hand get their powers when the Grant is issued so any notice would only have effect if it was placed after the Grant is issued.
I am a qualified solicitor and am happy to try and assist informally, where needed.

Any posts I make on LegalBeagles are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as legal advice. Any practical advice I give is without liability. I do not represent people on the forum.

If in doubt you should always seek professional face to face legal advice.

As Peridot and my PM 22/11, as you are the named executor and you have the death certificate.
Refer to the link I gave you previously: https://www.thegazette.co.uk/wills-a...estates-notice
