Hi there, new to this and really need some advice.
I am currently on maternity leave and have been overpaid money that I filled paperwork out to say I didn't want.
My employer has made the mistake and I now find myself in the position I was trying to avoid - tied to going back to the job or having to pay the money back (due to unforseen circumstances we have already had to use some of this money) .
Has anyone ever come across this situation before? I feel as though my employer should never had made this mistake as it's so unprofessional and I'm the one left to sort it out.
