  • Old mortgage and PPI, where to go?

Back in the mid nineties I purchased a house with my wife, the original mortgage was with alliance and Leicester and was a interest only number, around 1997 we changed to a repayment mortgage with Northern Rock.
As far as I am aware neither of these companies are trading any longer, so the question is where would I go to make a PPI reclaim? Is it possible?

I have in the past reclaimed the PPI on other financial products but always had a contact point for these companies.

Any advice or or contact details for either or both the above would be appreciated.
