  • Court papers Cabot/Wright Hassell

    Hi
I am looking for some advice re the above,
    Issue Date 15 Sept 2017
    Particulars of Claim
The Claimants claim is for debts arising from Consumer Credit Act 1974 agreements. The Claimant is an Assignee of the following debts, notice of assignment having been given to the Defendant in writing. Vanquis Credit Card. Account no. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx £934.91. Despite demands for payment, the above sums remain due. The Claimant therefore claims the sum £934.91 interest under s.69 County Courts Act 1984 and costs.

I think this debt is statue barred as the last payment was prior Sept 2011, i am trying to check this. I will do AoS by MCOL tonight
I will send a CCA request and a CPR 31.14 request to the relevant parties tomorrow.
    Is that correct?
And also when do I notify their Solicitor that i think the debt is Statute Barred?
    Thank you
