  • Zenith Collection - Parking fine

Should I ignore this? I rang them today and spoke to a very rude and forceful woman. I'd previously appealed this with the parking company as it was residential parking but they rejected me, stating their T&Cs and let me know they had pictures of my then car with no pass present. They did let me know I had a note in my window stating I was moving in that week and was waiting for my residents pass but needed to park due to moving furniture to my 2nd floor flat... the lady at zenith knew all the above information and stated, when I said id be willing to go to court, that id 100% lose and incur more costs as the pictures show no pass and the parking company could happily provide the court with enough evidence of payment requests including discounts.

Got me a little worried as I'm about to apply for a new mortgage and don't want to ruin my clean credit rating.

    Thanks

Zenith (& their alter ego, DRP) are only 3rd party debt collectors, so safe to ignore.
As you've found out, it's a waste of breath dealing with them; they just want the money....period.
They can neither legally sue you or affect your credit rating.
