• Sad News - Brian Grace - ( Sparkie ) passed away

We are really sad to announce that Brian Sparkie1723 passed away earlier this month.

In his own words, he was "An old "Git" with a young outlook. retired now but still fighting"

He fought more than enough. He has been an integral part of the forum for a very long time and will be greatly missed.

We don't know full details as yet, and will let you know any arrangements as we get them.

Our love goes to Margaret and the rest of his family.

He never gave up love, he won! He was respected and loved by all who knew him and kept true to himself, that is the greatest victory!

                    (((hugs))) to you always

Re: Sad News - Brian Grace - ( Sparkie ) passed away

I have to add my sentiments to everything that has been said on here. I read this news on the FB page and thought I would add my own condolences to sparkie. Finally. we see his face.

Many people come onto forums and might simply be keyboard warriors without threatening and following through. All I will say is that for an old git, he taught us that you should never fall asleep when you beat the bank cos they'll try to screw you when you're not looking.

                      Thank you Mr Grace: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/p...didnt-owe.html

Was fortunate to meet him and had the pleasure to speak to him on the phone quite a few times and he came across as a genuine and knowledgeable individual who was obviously truly devoted to his family and his causes. Also had disagreements with him where I really found out how passionate he could be around issues and I am positive the sad loss will be felt for quite a while both on here and certainly in his "real" life. RIP Brian, heartfelt blessings to all his friends and family.

Brian was a fighter and a lovely guy. I'm really upset tonight as rang eatlier for our perennial lengthy chat only to be told the sad news by his daughter. Brian fought for his country and was a genuine down to earth guy. Just glad I had the pleasure of knowing him and his lovely wife.
