ok so this claim is for much the largest of your debts. You may as well see if it is possible to successfully defend the case. If you lose, then you should probably take some debt advice, but from what you have said a Debt Relief order could be appropriate - this is a form of insolvency but it's cheaper and quicker than bankruptcy.

As far as I can see you have had no claim so defending the case is not really where you are right now.

Hopefully if you play this correctly it never will get to court but if it did, and it looked like you would lose a DRO is a possibility although it may make it difficult to repay family (at least in the short term and I know how difficult that prospect can be)
@Debt Camel and myself have a fundamental difference of opinion on how many cases actually get to court - I believe managed correctly many cases can be avoided - particularly older ones and I am hoping
