  • Vt damages

    Hi,
Im new to forums but i am looking for advice please. I vt'd my car wirh GMAC and they have collected today. I had a letter saying id paid over half so i owe nothing. Now they are trying to say i owe £1200+ in damages? The car wasn't new when bought and now is 6 years old. Any help would be grateful?
    Thanks in advance

Did you sign anything when they collected the car? Have you got details of the alleged damages?

      Re: Vt damages

I signed to say they had taken the car but i ticked to say i did not agree with the damage prices. Which i strongly don't agree with. They gave me a print off of the damages when they (Manheim) did the inspection today

My biggest worry is, as others i'm sure, it will affect my credit rating.

      Thanks for your reply

Just looked over the damages sheet in a calmer manner. They have even tried to charge for scuffs on wheel trims?? Not alloys wheel trims?? This is definately ridiculous
