  • Selling house whilst bankrupt

    Hi after some advice please

Was made bankrupt last year and i am currently in the process of selling my house to repay all the debts.
After being made bankrupt i was advised to take out an IVA to secure the debts and having done so decided to sell the property to repay early and after speaking to the official receiver he was more than happy for me to do this.
I've got a buyer lined up and need to know if i have to get the bankruptcy annulled before the house sale can go through as there is a charge on the property.
House valued at 340k and the debts total 24k so more than enough assets to clear the debts

Any advise would be very much appreciated

Talk to your IVA firm and get the replies in writing. Asking people on the internet about this sort of rare and complicated situation is pointless.
