  • Debt Recovery Plus letter for PCN - Kings Meadow, Reading

    Hi All,

I received a letter today for a PCN from Debt Recovery Plus. I'm the registered keeper, DRP traced my address from another source as my DVLA keeper details are out of date (which I realised today).

    The charge is £160
    Reason for Issue: Unauthorised Parking
    Date: 05/04/2017

My partner parked in a space they thought was valid, and paid. We have the digital receipt from myringo. We believe the signage was inadequate.

What should I do now? Appeal with this argument to DRP directly?

    Any advise would be appreciated.

    Thanks

If it's DRP then they are simply debt collectors and can be ignored, So, as the registered keeper who was not driving at the time of the alleged incident, you write to whoever raised the PCN, DRP will probably have told you, and deny any debt to them as you have not received any Notice to Keeper.

Who is the parking company? Do DRP give dates for the original Notice to Keeper issued? It's rather a long time frame.

Parking Company: Premier Parking Solutions Ltd.

I don't have the original notice to keeper, I'm going to try to get it in next few days.

So I shouldn't reply to DRP at all?

      Thanks for the advice.

Just ignore. As I said they are just debt collectors.
