  • Large HMRC debt

    Hope someone can advise me I received a letter from the inland revenue regarding my self assement my debt is in the region of 55.000
    with no means to pay within 14 days I have had field officers putting letters through the door I spoke with my new accountant who said he would look in to my taxes for me and and called the tax office and was given til the end of the month now I have received a letter of warning of bankruptcy if I don't pay by the 23rd these tax debt go back to 2008 I have been paying them at £50 a week and still paying but now they want the money I had a letter from them agreeing to my payments but what I didn't read was this did not include future tax bills... now they are saying they are unable to agree what can I do?
