Hello;
Can someone offer some advice.
I have a 10 month old samsung phone which had been getting into reboot cycles and then freezing completely with blue light (common problem, usually means faulty software or internal fault). The first time it happened i contacted samsung requesting repair. But in the end managed to fix it myself by factory resetting. I mention this as this contact was befor i cracked the rear glass...
I then cracked the rear glass about a month after that. Only a small drop and a small crack, I wasn't going to bother repairing as its small. A month or so later the phone then got into a reboot cycle again and I contacted samsung again for warranty and this time sent it off.
They have refused to repair it as the crack in the rear glass has apparently caused "Catastrophic internal damage"! Aside from the crack which they repaired while it was away, the phone is spotless, not a scratch on it as I take good care of my phones and expect them to last well.
In my opinion catastrophic internal damage is a cop out and they probably didnt bother opening it, merely saw they had repaired it and said, tough luck to you.
Should I pursue this? I feel like I'm in the right as the small drop wouldnt cause enough damage, and that the rebooting problem was present prior to being damaged.
Thanks.
