  • Court Claim defence then ......

    Hi,
I filled out the Court Claim defence and emailed it yeaterday amd today finally received documents showing the original credit agreement and accounts. This was sent by the original credit company, not the claimant or the solicitors who have brought the action. It appears to prove that the original debt was my partners (his wifes, but he signed it) ,however it should be statute barred, but the accounts show a one off payment of £1.00 made five years ago. It is a one off random payment certainly not made by my partner ,what can he do. His defence has gone in a day before this arrived. No payments were made for a period of two years before this £1.00 pay, ent. It is ridiculous, they have made it up. Help.

£1.00 was for a statuary CCA1974 request payment? no doubt and cannot be acclaimed as a credit to-wards the account though the scum try it on

      Hi Piglet

What is the claim for? (Credit card, loan etc).
      & approx how much?
Have you sent a CCA (SS77-79) request to the Claimant?
