UKPC Parking Fine

Hoping to find other people who may have had experience of getting a tickets like this. I received a letter from UK Parking Control asking me for £100 as they gave me a ticket before Xmas when I was out shopping. I was parked in a cut out that not part of the road. The letter is saying I was parked on the road. Do I have to pay this or is this just one of those invoice companies.

So you received a windscreen ticket and now a letter to your home about the same matter?

Google maps ling to the location would help, as well as pictures of the signs and a redacted copy of the notice you received.
