  • Disabled Parking Badge Not Recognised by Excel Parking

Hi all, wondered if anyone had experience of the fact that Peel Centre parking doesn't allow blue badge holders to park for free? We appealed to them after receiving the £60 now, £100 after 14 days, and they rejected the appeal. They're now saying if we appeal again, we lose the right to the discounted £60 rate. Seems really unfair, my mother-in-law distraught that she thinks she's costing us so much money in fines. Any advice?

A blue badge gives no right to park on private land, anywhere. Some companies provide bays for blue badges and/or disabled access but i can't recall any that provide free parking unless the whole car park is free. The book that comes with it explains where the badge can be used, i believe.

As for the ticket, can you post the PCN and appeal (sanitised).

Could you try again with the attachment. Too small but also not enough definition to enlarge to readable.

Can't read the letter bit the format doesn't seem as though it is POFA. Did you tell them the name of the driver?
