  • Haven't been paid after 2 months

So I've been working at the Harvester for nearly 3 months now and I have only been paid £15.88 since my first shift in the beginning of August. I'm 16 and not really sure how to go about handling this. I've worked 61 hours to this day.

I asked about it and found it it was because I haven't been signing in and out - which I was never told to do by anyone. I've asked two of my managers; one of which told me the money would be in my bank by Friday 30th and it still hasn't been sorted. I asked my other manager and she said she would get it sorted yesterday, when the head office was open again after the weekend and it still hasn't been sorted. I rang up today and found there was no manager to sort it out, so someone took a note for me. I've had to speak to three people now and I'm starting to get really annoyed. I should have been paid nearly four week ago!

I was never given a contract to sign either, is this an issue?

    Thank you for your help

You need to put this in writing to them. The content of phone calls is difficult to prove.
    Itemise days & hours worked.
There is no legal requirement for a written contract of employment, but you should have received a Statement of Employment Particulars if you are an employee.
