I've received a fine from a local council for not paying to park - I thought I'd just ran over time but when I checked, I was within the timescale I'd parked for but had input my reg number incorrectly (A instead of an O) on the payment app. I had been parking in that car park all week and hadn't noticed!
I've written to the council but what are the chances that they'll remove the fine due to human error? Anything else I should do to follow up.
