Arrow / Reston / egg

Hi. In need of some urgent help. I currently live overseas. My mother just received a threatening letter from Reston solicitors on behalf of Arrow global regarding an outstanding debt with egg. I haven't had any dealings with egg for at least five years. They are claiming they will start legal action unless I call them and begin repayment before Thursday.

This is made all the more complicated by the fact that I live overseas and cannot see the letter nor respond quickly by mail. Any advice greatly appreciated.
