  • Maternity Return to Work

    Hi,
i am currently nearing the end of my maternity leave after my second child. I am only taking ordinary maternity leave (OML) in order to protect my working conditions. This is not ideal as I would have liked to have longer off with my child. However, my first mat leave ended in me pretty much being bullied into a new role (in the words of the director "take the job or move on" and "this is like a promotion without the pay rise") even though my previous role was still there. I was told this new role was more flexible for a working mother (not that I had asked for any flexibility) so to get something out of a bad situation I git two days working from home.
it is the home days I'm protecting by only taking OML.
In a recent KIT day my boss has told me these days will shortly be under review which has hit me hard as I feel they are doing this to make me leave.
how long after my return can they change my conditions?
