  • PPI company suing for fees

I have recently taken several PPI claims with Action Direct, on the first I was awarded and paid there commission, however the second claim with HSBC showed a remark detioriation in there customer service of incisive phone calls which initially was fictitious in content. updates that did not existing and was at all times of my working day which got very annoying. I asked that they only call after 5.30pm and only when there was a actual update to inform me of, they completely ignored my request and continued to call. when the award was submitted for approval I complained as the phone calls got more (3-4 times a day) as they were chasing me to except the offer and return the paperwork. I did not sign or accept offer and have not received any money as payment for the PPI as I felt that there customer service should have discussed with me in person the stress and harassment that they caused me. they informed me that they would look into and respond within 6 weeks.

low and behold they responded after the claim deadline had expired and sent me a bill for there commission.

so as I have not tried to continue this claim personally and have not received payment where do I stand??

When you say claim deadline do you mean the settlement offer from the bank?

Also did you have an issue with the amount of the settlement offer?
