Hello guys. My property has been valued at £215,000. I am purchasing for £112,300. Will I pay stamp duty?

    Thanks in advance

    Re: stamp duty

I think (correct me if I'm wrong) that stamp duty is paid/owed according to the purchase price of a property, not the price it's valued at ... if that's the case, then the min PP of a house for SD to be paid is £125,000 (residential) and £150,000 (commercial) - https://www.gov.uk/stamp-duty-land-tax/overview. That being true, a house bought for £112,300 would mean no stamp duty was owed xx
