We recently browse at sofa works Croydon Purley Way. Today 8/6/15 we received PC from Parking Eye, saying 29 days after first notice served, and that we should pay £70 within 14 days. See attached.
looking at the date of the fine, it was a Sunday 26/4/15
We did not see/notice a sign for parking restriction,
Or perhaps it's Purley Way, a well know home stores with plenty of free parking, hence we did not even think of parking restriction
we did not buy on that day
Furthermore, we recently moved so did not received the first detailed notice (although we did arrange for post office redirect). We have yet to inform DVLA of our new address (will do after writing this plea for help).
please kindly let us know how we should proceed, should we pay as they have threaten to refer to credit agency. We don't want a negative credit record. Desperately need some advice please
