  • Parking Eye County Court Claims

Hi. I would really appreciate some help with a county court claim I have just received thismorning from Northampton And 'Parking Eye'. Costs totalling £135!
I ignored previous letters as I previously thought this was the usual advised action... But I believe this may have been outdated information that I had found.
I have no clue how to go about this or how to respond to this.
Firstly - this is from a hospital carpark, I had been called in early that morning for repeat blood tests and was asked to get there asap. I was not driving as I had been having problems with my vision hence blood tests etc. Husband let me out of the car at the side of the building as no spaces left and could not wait for one as I had to hurry, (also id likely be left wondering where the heck he was parked as I couldn't see properly)...anyway he waited there for me to come back out which was about 20 mins.

Is the first correct thing to do *respond with acknowledgement of service -hopefully intend to defend the costs?

    Thanks very much xx

Ah...I'm pretty sure I just binned the prior letters but I'll have a look see if I have filed them incase.
Thank you, I'll do that today at some point. I'm off to the hospital again today so will get some photos of the signs etc.
Should I be getting in touch with land owners to see about planning permission etc for signs (as has been suggested on other threads?)

      Thankyou very much x

Not really. The only thing i'd contact the land owner/holder about is a complaint about my regular custom and how they will lose it, to see if they'll cancel the ticket.

Hi again, unfortunately I have had a lot going on personally healthwise in the last week or so and bad news for a close family member...my mind has not been on this...and I have regretfully neglected this issue but I do need help. I hope people are still happy to help me and I would be extremely grateful.

I cannot get the scans up as just to make my week worse I don't have a working scanner and also currently using a borrowed laptop.
I found most of the letters though! Unbelievable, I had filed them.
I have two which state amount due..£70.00 if paid by 5/11/13 or £40.00 if paid by 22/10/2013. Details on the back about appeals must be parking eye first..then to popla.
Another letter 'before county court claim'.

I can only apologise that I didn't deal with this last week. I just have a lot on my plate at the moment and I'm juggling lots of problems x

Ok. Bump this next week as there is a biggish case on Friday and you have plenty of time to wait for it.

Do you have a picture of the sign or know how much the charge would have been ?
