    Hi and welcome!

There are few questions that we need to ask:

    • Was this a secured or unsecured loan?
    • Can you tell us a bit more about the loan, when did you take it out, how long ago did you default?
    • How much was it originally for?
    • Did you ever receive a default notice?
    • Did you receive a letter before action, i.e. a letter stating they would issue a claim?
    • When did you receive the court papers?
    • What solicitors are they using?

Can you post the particulars of claim after removing your personal details? :typing:

Does this mean you got the court summons two weeks ago? You must respond within 14 days plus 5 days for service from the date on the summons N1 form (tick the Acknowledgment of Service box online if you intend to defend and if these proceedings were served online by NCCBC) or the claimant will automatically get a default judgment against you. As FP has said please post up more information asap so we can help you.
