  • Witnesses statement of fact

    Hi, I have to submit a statements of witnesses of fact within the next couple of days, I have little knowledge of this, does anyone have an example of can anyone help in giving me ideas as to how it should look and what it should contain.

    I assume you mean a witness statement. Dont know if there is any special format it should take, but I usually start off by saying something like:-

    1. I xxxx xxxx (name) of xxxx (address) will say as follows
    2. The facts to which I refer are within my own knowledge
    3. Continue with the numbering listing the facts chronologically

      if you made notes at hte time of the incident then it is worth saying that as well as they are more likely to be accurate than your recollection .
