  • New Trainers

I bought a brand new pair of trainers, mountain walking shoes, actually, from Sports Direct and was then on a week of nights. Went back when I finished nights and told a right nauseating lady that not only were the trainers leaking but one of the heels was 'flat'. She had both shoes in her hands and sank her hand into the left hand heel, but could not repeat it on the right hand heel, she refused to be convinced that they were faulty and kept repeating herself that they were not supposed to be waterproof!!

Eventually after 30+ minutes, a manager was summoned who actually put the shoes on and said straight away, this left heel is not correct!!! The girl repeated that this was not the cause of the leak!! Even though I showed her a damp heel on my sock.

Eventually I got another pair, which took nearly an hour in all and the pair I have now are perfect, albeit slightly more expensive.

They think there own terms are above the law lol my response would be "tell that to trading standards.
If you think nobody cares if you're alive, try missing a couple of payments.

If they have signs or notices to that effect, they would have committed a criminal offence contrary to the Consumer Transactions (Restrictions on Statements) Order 1976.

Report the oafs to Trading Standards.
