  • Help Please

    Hi,
Sorry I am new to this, so if there is already a question regarding this, then sorry for the repeat.

I am in the middle of a nice argument with SKY.

    I receive this online bill:
    Amount Not Currently Being Requested

    Hide Bill Details
    14/05/2010 DTV Subscription Clawback (£95.09)
    14/05/2010 DTV Subscription Clawback (£82.98)
    14/05/2010 DTV Subscription Clawback (£62.25)
    14/05/2010 HD Subscription Clawback (£95.09)
    14/05/2010 HD Subscription Clawback (£82.98)
    14/05/2010 HD Subscription Clawback (£62.25)
    14/05/2010 MR Subscription Clawback (£95.09)
    14/05/2010 MR Subscription Clawback (£82.98)
    14/05/2010 MR Subscription Clawback (£62.25)
    Subtotal (£720.96)
    Total Balance: £206.74
    28/05/2010 Payment Received £206.74 CR
    28/05/2010 Credit Adjustment £40.00 CR
    Current Balance: £40.00 CR

    Payment Due By:
    28/05/2010

Which as far as I can see. means I am in credit.

Sky, however insist there is still £200 outstanding. As they see a different system, and cannot see the same bill as me.

What can I do about this? Am I right to insist I owe £0, and am infact £40cr?
Thank you for the replies in advance

    Re: Help Please

I am not surprised that you are confused.

I am normally pretty good at figues but even I cannot understand how they reach £200 and I tend to agree with you that you are £40 in credit? Unless we are both missing something here. What relevance if any is the £720.96 clawbacks? as that does not seem to be part of the equasion?

What you can do is send them a Subject Access Request with £10 and ask them for every bit of information on your account including your full statement of all debits and credits?

Or alternatively, if you can locate the CEO of Sky write and ask him/her to look into this and come back and explain how you owe £200 when you are £40 in credit. I will try and find the email address for you.

I would keep everything in writing as not all telephone calls are logged properly for some reason.

        Re: Help Please

mailto:jeremy.darroch@bskyb.com this is the CEO of British Sky. This was the only one listed so I would send a nice polite email to him and ask for his assistance in resolving matters.

Please let me know how you get on.
