Hi,
I booked a weekend hotel break online for my wife and I through a third party company, not directly with the hotel, as the price they quoted seemed very low. My transaction went through ok and I received confirmation of the booking, detailling what I had paid for and my credit card was duly debited for the cost. They have now written to me to say the they quoted the wrong price and of course offering their apologies. They then asked me if I wished to keep the booking at the correct price?
I think I read somewhere that once they accept payment then a contract has been agreed.
Can I say to them that as a contract exisits then I expect them to honour the agreement as it stands?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Many thanks,
John
