  • arrears charges and possession

I have a question - is there an actual law regarding possession proceedings which states that the possession request entered by the lender should only relate to ARREARS of pay*ents and NOT arrears charges.

I suppose technically by the ti*e it gets to court they are clai*ng back the whole loan? But do you see what I a* getting at? There is a case OTR where the arrears are £2000 but the lender is insisting on £8000 including charges and wont back down.

I have been searching for ages but can only find "guidelines"

BTW new keyboard on its way
