  • Claiming compensation for a delayed air flight

    Hi there

On the 11th January I flied with Ryan Air from Alicante to Manchester
The plain was due to land at Manchester at 13.00 GMT and did not land until 16.10 because the plain that we where due to fly on had technical issues (so we where told) and we all had to change plain. While myself and the other passengers where weighting in the lounge area at Alicante airport we where given an A4 piece of paper that explained our rights.

As set out by EU legislation EU261/2004 Compensation. On the paper it stated the following; flight delayed by more then 3 hours with respect to the scheduled arrival time, €400 in respect of all intra-EU flights of more then 1500km

So it is obvious I am entitled to claim against Ryan Air but how do I go about this please?
Ryan Air have not been very helpful towards there passengers regarding this

    Thanks
