  • phone bill problem

    hi,

i couldn;'t pay my phone bill because their website was down and they wouldn't accept a phone payment becasue my card was addressed to one that is different to my current one despite frequent requests of mine. Therefore i couldn't pay for a fortnight and they cut my phone off. I do not want to change the address of my bank because i live in a communial flat and i do not trust that any correspondance with them will be taken.

Do i have any rights in this situation or am i stuck and will i have to change my address with the bank?

    Thanks in advance

    Re: phone bill problem

    Hi Chris,

To be honest I don't think that you have any rights with this situation, its your responsibility to pay your bill on time, couldn't you draw the cash out the bank and pay it over the counter ?

Re changing your address with the bank, perhaps you could ask them to send your correspondence to another address ie someone that you trust, or even get yourself a PO Box if you are having security problems with your post and your fellow tennants.
