  • Hello fellow forum users. Afraid it's another VT question!

    Hello all,

I am currently paying a monthly payment of £450 for my BMW X3 financed through BMW finance. I'm about 18 months into a 48 month PCP contract. In March I suffered a serious RTA in which I broke my back and am now permanently paralysed from the chest down. Obviously I'll never work again in my current job offshore. Since the accident I have been making the payments, but now I will be entitled to a motability car, unfortunately BMW don't do a suitably large enough car on this scheme as I have a dog, two children and now a wheelchair! to carry.
I obviously haven't reached the required 50% to legally invoke the VT. I am soon to drop to half wages and will suffer financial difficulties if I am to continue with the agreement.
My question is, would I be able to hand the car back and VT the contract under this change in circumstances?

    Cheers Scooby1968
