Hi
I have had a PPI claim rejected by Barclays. It was a postal application in which i had to tick a box for PPI.
The layout of the letter was highly biased towards ticking the box. tag lines of "Dont sign up without it!" etc. Rubber stamp graphic depicting Barclaycard Payment Protection is the 'way to go'.
I do not remember ticking the Options boxes, but it is 15 years ago so cannot be sure, The ticks do look oddly different to the sex selection box on the address panel.
My question is, does this clever pushy sales layout/design of the application form gear towards the miss selling of PPI?
There are no clear terms on the application. Just a small tag line of 'please see enclosed conditions'.
Thanks
