  • Guide to nuisance calls & messages

Ofcom & MOJ have published a guide to nuisance calls & messages.

    http://consumers.ofcom.org.uk/files/...ides-small.pdf

    I like your pin shot
I keep it with your letter
    Done up in blueprint blue
It sure looks good on you
And when you smile for the camera
I know I'll love you better

    Then the shutter falls
You see it all in 3-D
    It's your favorite foreign movie

Just reading this and unbelievably if you register with TPS it doesn't apply to recorded message marketing calls and silent calls even though they are illegal if you receive them without your permission.

Guide to nuisance calls - from moj, ofcom + others

To report a marketing text to Orange, O2 or T-Mobile, simply forward the text to 7726.
For Vodafone users, forward the text to 87726.
For 3, forward the text to 37726.
An easy way to remember ‘7726’ is that they are the numbers on your telephone keypad that
        spell out the word ‘SPAM’.
